1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sem, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Sem.
2. Sem Is Not Financial Advice
Sem provides informational tools for debt clarity, payoff projections, and financial goal planning. Sem does not provide financial, legal, tax, credit, or investment advice. Payoff projections are estimates and may differ from actual outcomes based on interest changes, lender behavior, fees, missed payments, or other factors.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account, keeping your credentials secure, and providing accurate information. You must not use Sem in a way that violates laws, third-party rights, or platform rules.
4. Connected Financial Accounts
Sem uses Plaid to help connect supported financial institutions and retrieve account or liability information. You authorize Sem and its service providers to access and process information needed to provide connected debt and payoff features.
5. Beta and Availability
Sem may be offered as a beta, preview, unpublished, or limited-release product while the rebuilt experience is being developed. Features may change, break, be delayed, or be removed as the app evolves.
6. User Data
Sem uses cloud services including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Functions, and Firestore. For more information about how data is handled, review our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-Party Services
Sem depends on third-party services such as Plaid, Firebase/Google Cloud, Apple, Google Play, and optional diagnostics providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policies, or data practices.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sem and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the app, including financial decisions made based on app content or projections.
9. Changes to These Terms
